This is my entry for the June Challenge on Crafty Place http://craftyplace.yuku.com/The theme of the challenge is Summer and we must include at least one summery image and the words Summer.
I decided to use the challenge to make a card to give to the Teachers at my son's playgroup when they break up for the Summer term.
The ice cream image is from Pink Petticoat, I printed it off twice to give some of it a decoupage appearance. I cannot remember but I think the background paper is DCVW (I hope the initials are the right way round !) and the ribbon is a Smirk one from the Range but is a real pain to use as it freys constantly. The sentiment was generated on MS Word and has been shaped into a sun with glitter on the orange rays.
